tom prikryl, President & CEO
Tom founded Triad in 1994. Since then, he has combined his understanding and appreciation of the sales process with a strong sense of marketing savvy. Tom’s belief in the value of teamwork is inherent both in the internal operation of the agency, as well as in our relationships with our B2B clients.
As Triad’s president, Tom is intimately involved in the strategic direction of all the agency’s clients. His professional career spans more than 35 years in the B2B advertising and marketing industry, including prominent roles at Berry-Brown Advertising, Popejoy and Fischel, and is partnered with clients in a wide range of industrial and technical markets.
Tom is one of the region’s most accomplished and experienced business-to-business marketers and has been recognized as DFW’s Sales and Marketing Executive of the Year.
joe sugarek, VP of Business Development
Joe Sugarek brings more than 35 years of advertising agency experience, including management positions with McCann-Erickson, Temerlin McClain, and Bozell in various markets. Since 1994 Sugarek Marketing Group has served the upstream and downstream energy business with solid strategic marketing communications. He has a background working with non-energy clients as well, including Texas Instruments, Dallas Market Center, and Trammell Crow Company.
As Vice President of Business Development for Triad, Joe combines his agency background with extensive experience in numerous industries including energy, high technology, real estate, and various service industries. Joe earned a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from The University of Texas, following fine art studies and a football letter at Sam Houston State University. He enjoys outdoor sports, ranching and painting.
david hospodka, Creative Director
David Hospodka is a Nebraska native, but his experience in advertising and marketing in the DFW area spans more than 20 years. As a true marketing veteran with an extensive agency background, David has worked with clients ranging from large Fortune 500 companies to smaller “mom and pop shops.” He adds a special skillset to the agency that’s expertly aligned with the needs of B2B clients, including print and digital design, website design, and video production.
David is a big thinker, creative problem solver, and has a sharp eye when it comes to the details. When describing his approach to B2B campaigns, he says, “My approach is simple: the creative product should do more than look good, it should be on message and on brand—regardless of channels or media. It's not art; it's advertising.”
randy williamson, Digital Strategist
As an experienced digital strategist, Randy has in-depth knowledge of SEM/SEO, email marketing, public relations, and various social media platforms that supports clients’ marketing efforts. His client-side marketing background has covered a wide range of industries including civic, pharmaceutical, and B2B technology.
Randy works directly with both the account service and creative teams, making sure integrated marketing campaigns are correctly developed, implemented and monitored on the digital side. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Texas Tech University, but his interests also revolve around ancient history and anthropology, tabletop games, and playing the guitar.
cheryl roberts, Operations Manager
Every marketing and advertising agency should have someone on the leadership team with experience across a variety of industries. Cheryl’s diverse experience enriches Triad’s perspective, having led organizations and processes in multiple industries including marketing, manufacturing, IT, legal services, sales, entertainment and media and consulting. She hails from Bad Axe, MI and graduated cum laude from Alma College with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and English.
When Cheryl was an Account Manager with EDS on the General Motors account, she spearheaded the development of a systems development process that included checklists and strict procedures to improve workflow and guarantee organization and accountability. That strong process orientation elevates Triad’s ability to service clients with a tight workflow process and strong follow-up. Cheryl knows what it takes to bring fresh perspectives and new ideas to the creative table.
tony ammerman, Associate Creative Director/Sr Copywriter
Tony is a veteran of the Dallas advertising and marketing community, serving clients across a broad range of industries for more than 25 years. At Bozell & Jacobs, he enjoyed 10 years as a copywriter, creative group head and creative contact, assuming creative, account planning, and client facing responsibilities. He co-founded The Mountain Group, Inc., a full-service agency, directing the agency for 12 years before merging its operations to form Numantra.
In the role of Sr. Creative Contact, Tony supports Triad’s clients in the areas of client service, strategic development, account planning, creative brief development, concept development, copywriting and project management.
Tony is a magna cum laude graduate of Southern Methodist University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Political Science.
paula seumalo, Administrative Assistant
Prior to joining Triad, Paula enjoyed 11 years in commercial real estate, responsible for administration, marketing coordination and project management. In addition to supporting the day to day running of the office, she assisted with the formation of the company’s land division and worked on key accounts, focusing on transactional support for properties within the DFW metroplex. She also assisted in the formation of the company’s High Performance Team, supporting the planning, development and execution of programs, awards and coaching curriculum.
At Triad, in the role of Admin, Paula facilitates day-to-day agency operations, and applies her administrative skills in the areas of project and management support. Paula is a native of the Dallas area, who in her spare time enjoys coaching youth soccer.
millie matthews, Accounting
Millie began her career in Public Accounting with Ernst & Young. She spent four years in the auditing service line, where she worked primarily on large publicly listed clients in the retail, airline and investment industries. She then spent one year as a Senior Investment Accountant with Goldman Sachs before moving to Madrid, Spain with her husband. While in Madrid, Millie studied the Spanish Language at Escuela Oficial de Idiomas, traveled Europe and began her family.
Since returning from Spain, Millie has held various roles, from Financial Compliance Analyst with Texas Health Resources, to Professor of Accounting with Dallas County Community Colleges. Millie earned her Masters of Accounting from the University of Arkansas and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Texas. She enjoys reading, traveling, being outdoors and staying active with her husband, Luke, and two young children, Nora and Julian.
bruce marion, Consultant
With over 20 years of direct experience in the B2B marketing space, Bruce Marion provides expert consulting and business advisory services on multiple fronts. He supports Triad with general management responsibilities while offering valuable marketing insight as both entrepreneur and former client, always helping maximize our clients’ marketing efforts. Bruce has extensive knowledge when it comes to new business and start-up agencies, and helps map out new client markets to identify valuable B2B marketing opportunities for fully integrated campaigns.
Bruce also has over 30 years of experience specific to the oil and gas market. He is currently a member and distinguished lecturer for the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), and holds other memberships with oilfield technical societies including Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) and American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG). Bruce earned his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University and his Engineering Doctorate from Stanford University.
jason oliver, Account Director
Jason is an accomplished Account Director who has worked at leading advertising agencies in the DFW market, offering integrated project experience in digital media and print. Experienced in managing new and existing accounts, Jason is adept at discerning project requirements, communicating client needs to creative teams, and managing the daily work flow of concurrent projects to ensure deliverables are completed on time, on budget and on strategy.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from with minors in Advertising and Anthropology from Cameron University, where he was a member of the National Dean’s List, a Student Council Senator, and Student Government Supreme Court Justice.
